GOLF TRAVEL GUIDE

NOV 2026 – APR 2027

As Southeast Asia's peak golf travel season approaches, choosing the right destination at the right time can make all the difference to a memorable holiday.

The Best of Southeast Asia's Golf Season

From November through February, Thailand offers some of its most comfortable golfing conditions. Bangkok, Hua Hin and Chiang Mai enjoy generally drier weather, making it an excellent time to combine championship courses with temple visits, local markets and regional cuisine.

Cambodia & Laos: Culture Meets the Fairways

Cambodia and Laos also enter their cooler, drier months. Golfers visiting Siem Reap can explore the magnificent temples of Angkor, while Luang Prabang offers a slower-paced cultural escape.

Vietnam: Timing Makes the Difference

Vietnam requires more careful planning. Hanoi is generally best for golf from November to March, while Ho Chi Minh City enjoys its drier season from December to April. For Da Nang and Hoi An, February onwards usually brings more favourable conditions after the central coast’s wetter months.

Malaysia & Bali: Two Different Seasons

Malaysia’s west coast, including Langkawi, becomes particularly appealing from December, although tropical showers remain possible.

Bali follows a different seasonal pattern, with wetter conditions generally prevailing from November to March and improving from April.
